Constructed between two carriageway of the commonwealth avenue west with its construction that started in the year 1985 and was launched on 12 March 1988, the Clementi MRT station is considered the second longest station between two different stations on the east-west line. Created in 2015 the clementi MRT station is built with two different ticket concourse which is located at level 2, the ticket at the eastern end of the station complements the main ticket concourse with both toilet and shop constructed in the unpaid area of the main concourse of the station. Street levels can be reached from the concourse through different means such as stirs, escalators, and lifts so far. With a transit link ticket office that operates from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm every day allowing commuters to easily purchase tickets either single or for multiple journeys at your convenience.
